Quote: "It was only in the fairy tales that people were called upon to be so brave, to die for one another. Not in real-life Denmark." Question: Do you think that if you were called upon to fight and possibly die for your country, would you do it?
It would definitely depend on the cause of the war and what I would possibly die for. If it was for something I didn't believe in, like the war in the Middle East, I would not fight. However, if I did believe in the cause, I would fight. I will serve my country when I feel it is necessary.
Like the quote suggests, I would be scared to die in war, even if it was for my own country. I don't necessarily believe that war and violence can solve conflicts. However, if it was a cause that I truly believed in, such as defending my own country or race, I would fight or even die for the cause. .
